I am the X-ray facilities manager for the Newcastle University MX Structural Biology group and collaborators. I joined Rick’s lewis laboratory in 2009.
Scientific Officer: Dr. Johan Panek
joined the structural biology platform in August 2024 as a Scientific Officer, bringing his expertise to support researchers with their macromolecular structural biology projects using X-ray technology. Passionate about collaboration and problem-solving, Dr. Panek is dedicated to helping platform users achieve their research goals, providing guidance and technical assistance to ensure successful structural analyses. His recent addition to the team reflects his commitment to advancing scientific discovery through user-focused support.
